Quality & Compliance
Statement

EcoGrow Farms Limited is building quality-focused systems for safer production, better handling, documented supply, and buyer confidence — while being transparent about where those systems currently stand.

EcoGrow Farms Limited  ·  Nigeria

A genuine commitment
to quality-focused
agricultural practice.

EcoGrow Farms Limited is committed to developing agricultural systems that support safe production, responsible handling, product quality, and reliable supply. This commitment is not a marketing position — it is the operating framework around which we design our field practices, post-harvest systems, and supply documentation.

We acknowledge that building quality systems is a continuous process. We describe our approach honestly: as quality-focused and traceability-ready, reflecting the direction we are building toward and the standards we hold ourselves to in daily operations — not certifications we have not yet obtained.

Our goal is a supply chain that buyers, institutions, and partners can trust — not because we claim it, but because we can demonstrate it through documented practice.

Active
Quality-focused field practices and operational discipline across crop and livestock production.
Active
Post-harvest handling standards covering grading, storage, and careful movement of produce.
In Development
Traceability-ready batch documentation systems — currently being built and refined across operations.
In Progress
Alignment with Nigerian regulatory frameworks — SON, NAQS, and relevant food safety standards — as systems mature.

Good agricultural practice
in the field.

EcoGrow's crop production operations are designed around principles of good agricultural practice. From soil preparation through to harvest, we aim to make decisions based on what the land needs — not convenience — and to record what we do so that our supply can be accounted for at every stage.

We use modern inputs responsibly, plan for water and pest management, and apply harvesting discipline to reduce post-harvest losses. Field records support our traceability-ready supply commitment.

01
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
Field operations aligned with recognised good agricultural practice principles — covering soil health, input use, and crop husbandry.
02
Responsible Input Use
Fertilisers, crop protection products, and soil amendments selected and applied in quantities appropriate to soil test results and crop requirements.
03
Water Management
Drip irrigation and water-aware scheduling to reduce consumption, support consistent production, and minimise run-off risk.
04
Pest & Disease Management
Integrated approach to pest monitoring and management — prioritising observation, prevention, and targeted intervention over routine chemical application.
05
Harvesting Discipline
Harvest timing, handling methods, and container hygiene standards that protect produce quality from field to packhouse.
06
Field Records
Input logs, spray records, planting dates, and harvest volumes recorded per batch — building the field-level data trail that traceability requires.

Safe, documented
animal husbandry.

EcoGrow's livestock and poultry operations are designed around welfare awareness, hygiene standards, and documented husbandry practice. We maintain records for feed, health treatments, and vaccination schedules to support the accountability that buyers of animal-derived products increasingly require.

Our production environments are designed to reduce stress, support animal health, and minimise disease risk — because better animal welfare and safer products are inseparable in a well-run operation.

01
Animal Welfare Awareness
Housing, stocking densities, feeding systems, and handling procedures designed with animal welfare considerations in mind.
02
Hygiene & Biosecurity
Facility hygiene protocols, entry controls, and biosecurity measures to reduce disease introduction and transmission risk.
03
Feed Records
Feed composition, sources, and quantities recorded to support traceability and demonstrate responsible feed management to buyers.
04
Health Monitoring
Regular observation of animal condition with records of any health concerns, treatments administered, and outcomes.
05
Vaccination Schedules
Vaccination programs carried out in accordance with veterinary guidance and recorded with batch, date, and product details where applicable.
06
Safe Production Environments
Facilities designed to support healthy, productive animals — with appropriate ventilation, water access, space standards, and predator protection.

From farm gate to
market — with care.

Post-harvest is where much Nigerian agricultural value is lost. EcoGrow treats the period between harvest and buyer delivery as a critical quality window — not an afterthought. Our handling systems are designed to reduce spoilage, maintain product presentation, and ensure that what reaches the buyer reflects the quality of what was produced.

Every stage of post-harvest handling — from initial sorting through to final delivery — is planned with both quality preservation and documentation in mind.

01
Sorting & Inspection
Initial sorting at harvest point to remove damaged, diseased, or substandard produce before it enters the supply chain.
02
Grading Standards
Grading by size, weight, and visual quality standards — creating consistent, predictable product for buyers who require specification-aligned supply.
03
Storage Planning
Storage conditions selected and managed for each produce type — including temperature-appropriate environments and cold-chain planning where applicable.
04
Packaging
Appropriate packaging materials and methods to protect produce during storage and transit, reduce physical damage, and maintain presentation quality.
05
Careful Movement
Handling protocols during loading, transport, and delivery that minimise physical damage and thermal shock to sensitive produce.
06
Reduced Spoilage Focus
Every post-harvest decision evaluated against its impact on spoilage reduction — because less spoilage means more value delivered to buyers and better returns for producers.

Building the documentation
infrastructure.

EcoGrow is developing systems that can support batch-level documentation, farm records, handling records, supplier information, and buyer documentation — the data infrastructure that accountable agricultural supply requires.

01
Field Level
Farm & Batch Records

Planting dates, field references, input logs, spray records, and harvest volumes — recorded per batch so that supply can be traced to its point of origin in the field.

02
Supply Chain
Handling & Movement Records

Chain-of-custody documentation covering grading, storage conditions, packaging dates, and delivery movement — tracking produce through the post-harvest journey.

03
Supplier Network
Supplier Information Management

For sourced produce, EcoGrow aims to maintain supplier records — origin, production practices, and relevant documentation — to extend traceability beyond its own production.

04
Buyer-Facing
Delivery Documentation

Batch identification, origin references, handling notes, and compliance-relevant documentation provided to buyers at point of delivery — supporting their own quality and audit requirements.

05
Livestock
Animal Production Records

Feed records, health treatments, vaccination schedules, and production details maintained to support the accountability requirements of institutional and regulated buyers.

06
Digital Systems
Digital Record Infrastructure

EcoGrow is building toward digital farm management records that reduce manual documentation burden and improve the reliability, completeness, and accessibility of production data.

EcoGrow's traceability systems are actively under development. We describe these capabilities as traceability-ready — meaning our systems are designed with traceability in mind and are being built toward full batch-level documentation. We do not claim complete or certified traceability at this stage.

Building toward
regulatory alignment.

As EcoGrow grows, the company aims to align its systems with relevant Nigerian agricultural, food safety, animal welfare, phytosanitary, and market documentation requirements. We approach compliance as a direction of travel, not a box to tick.

Our planning takes into account the regulatory frameworks that govern Nigerian agribusiness — and we design our operational systems so that formal compliance alignment is achievable as the business scales, rather than requiring a complete rebuild later.

This means building documentation practices today that can meet tomorrow's audit requirements, and being honest with buyers about where we are in that process.

Nigerian Food Safety Standards
Designing production and handling systems compatible with SON and NAFDAC food safety frameworks as they apply to our produce categories.
Phytosanitary Requirements
Awareness of NAQS plant health and phytosanitary requirements for domestic and future export supply — informing how we manage pest and disease risk.
Animal Welfare Standards
Aligning livestock and poultry husbandry with responsible welfare standards, informed by Nigerian regulations and international best practice where relevant.
Market Documentation Requirements
Building documentation systems that can satisfy the requirements of institutional buyers, processors, exporters, and regulated procurement programs.
Agricultural Records & Reporting
Developing record-keeping practices that support regulatory reporting requirements and provide a reliable audit trail for production and supply activities.

Transparency Statement
What We Do Not Claim

EcoGrow Farms Limited is committed to honest communication about the status of its systems, certifications, and compliance position. We believe that transparency builds more durable business relationships than inflated claims.

  • EcoGrow does not claim certifications unless formally obtained and documented. Certification, export, and compliance claims will only be made where supported by valid, current documentation.
  • We do not use the terms "certified organic", "fully traceable", "guaranteed compliance", "export-ready", or "zero waste" in describing our current operations — these would require formal certification or verification we have not yet completed.
  • We describe our produce as sustainably grown, quality-focused, and traceability-ready — language that accurately reflects our practices and the direction we are building toward.
  • Our quality and compliance position will be updated as our systems develop and formal certifications are obtained. Any claims made beyond this statement will be supported by documentation on request.
  • Buyers with specific compliance requirements — regulatory, institutional, or export-market — are encouraged to discuss those requirements directly with EcoGrow so we can give an accurate, honest account of our current capability.
